How You Can Help Yourself Heal

In addition to the beneficial changes you experience through Theta Healing, here are other ways you can bring yourself to optimal health:

MIND

o Be in gratitude for all, including your problems, because they are fertilizer for your growth.

o Avoid judgment of yourself and others whenever possible

o Pause before reacting to others who “push your buttons”.  Take a breath and try to respond in a loving, intelligent way.

o Do a five minute visualization with your eyes closed of anything that makes you feel happy.  Your body chemistry will be improved for the next six hours.

o When making a decision, ask yourself if it is in the highest and best good of all.
Start a “Joy Journal” and write down things you do each week that made you happy.

BODY

o Eat fresh cilantro every week and once in a while take Klamath Blue Green Algae by Power Organics to detox from heavy metals such as mercury, lead, etc. Heavy metals cause an extremely toxic load to our body.

o Get at least 15 minutes of direct sunlight every day. You will be physically and emotional strengthened including your pineal gland

o Eat more raw fruits and veggies, less processed foods, sugar, alcohol, salt, fried foods, and dairy.

o Drink plenty of filtered water.  Most people are chronically dehydrated, negatively affecting brain, heart and overall vitality and energy level.

o Do yoga and stretching.

o Women over age 50 should do weight bearing exercise every day with light free weights to minimize the risk of osteoporosis.

SPIRIT

o Say positively worded and heartfelt prayers using present tense verbs each morning when you first wake up and just before you go to sleep.  I call this daily practice ”spiritual weightlifting” – the more you do it the more powerful your prayers will be.

o Do a five minute meditation.  Simply focus on your breath, directing your breath to your abdomen.  When thoughts arise just see them as a cloud passing by and stay focused on your breath.

o To enhance well being, change routines and try a few new things or learn new things about your work and hobbies; this improves brain health by creating new neural pathways.  This is known as neuroplasticity.

o Pay more attention to your inner and outer rhythms instead of the clock; rest when you are tired. Take a day to do nothing once in a while; no chores, no phone, no email, no TV, etc.; and take more walks outside.

HOME AND OFFICE

o Work on priority projects early in the day before time gets away from you.  If you procrastinate, break projects down to baby steps and take action.

o Declutter your home and office.  Get rid of things you haven’t used in the past year, because this stagnates your energy. Do one room at a time; schedule time if possible, and get a friend to help.
